Jajpur: (Ama Aitiha) 25/12/2025:

A book titled Culture, Cultural Heritage, Social Change and Modernity will be formally inaugurated on December 26, 2025 (Friday) at 11:00 AM at D.U. Public School, Chandikhole, Jajpur district, Odisha.The programme is being organized by Ama Aitiha, the publisher of the volume, with the objective of promoting discourse on culture, heritage, and social transformation in contemporary society.Mr. Bimadhar Muduli, President of Swadinatha Sangrami Odisha, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Prof. Manoranjan Mohanty, retired Professor of Dharmasala Mahavidyalaya, will attend as the Chief Speaker. Eminent personalities Mr. Babosh Majhi and Dr. Santosh Mohapatra will be present as Honourable Guests.

The book has been edited by Mr. Manas Kumar Rout, noted Buddhist scholar from Jajpur. Other distinguished contributors and dignitaries present on the dais include Dr. Sikhasree Ray, Assistant Professor, Department of History and Archaeology, Fakir Mohan University, Balasore; Dr. Biswajit Mohapatra, Assistant Professor, N.C. Autonomous College, Jajpur; and Mr. Daitari Sahoo, retired Reader, Department of Anthropology, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar.

On this occasion, several eminent personalities from different fields will be honoured for their outstanding contributions. Ms. Anita Tripathy will receive the Adarsha Shikshyatree–2025 award, while Mr. Ghanasyama Swain will be conferred with the Adarsha Shikshyak–2025 award, both from Haridaspur School, Dharmasala, Jajpur.
Mr. Sagar Jena of Endar, Kendrapada, will be honoured with the Shrestha Manab Premi Samman–2025, and Mr. Debabrat Rout of Dharmasala, Jajpur, will receive the Bishistha Samaj Sebi–2025 award. Renowned journalist Mr. Suresh Kar will be felicitated with the Aniruddha Samantaray Samman–2025.
Additionally, Dr. Dibya Ranjan Tripathy of Boudh will be honoured with the Ama Aitiha Yuba Aitihasik–2025 award. The organizers expressed confidence that the book and the event would significantly contribute to intellectual discussions on cultural heritage, social change, and modernity in Odisha and beyond.
