The Makar issue of the magazine Ama Aitiha was formally released in a grand and enthusiastic atmosphere at the campus of Biranchi Narayan Madhav Arjun College, Arisa, under Tihidi Block of Bhadrak district. The programme witnessed the presence of several eminent personalities from the fields of education, literature, and culture, who enriched the occasion with their participation.
Professor Ashok Patnaik attended the programme as the chief guest. In his address, he stated that Ama Aitiha plays a significant role in documenting the historical glory, traditions, and cultural heritage of the Odia nation, thereby preserving them for future generations. The keynote speaker, Dr. Sunil Patnaik, emphasized the importance of such publications in promoting Odia literature and safeguarding the region’s rich historical legacy.
Among the distinguished guests present were the college chairman, Amiya Kumar Parida; Professor Sanjay Acharya; Dr. Anam Behera; Dr. Niranjan Rout; editor of Ama Aitiha, Manas Rout; along with several other intellectuals and literature enthusiasts.
The guests jointly unveiled the Makar issue of Ama Aitiha and expressed hope that the magazine would further strengthen awareness of Odia history, literature, and social consciousness.
At the end of the programme, Ama Aitiha correspondent Diptimayee Nayak delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all the guests, organizers, and attendees, and formally concluded the event.
