JAJPUR (AMA AITIHA): The research-based English book titled Antiquity to Modernity, published by ‘Ama Aitiha Prakashani’, was released on the premises of the Senior Citizens’ Forum at Chandikhol in Jajpur district. On this occasion, a literary meeting was held under the chairmanship of researcher Manas Kumar Rout. Distinguished guests including Chief Guest Professor Dr. Ajay Kumar Lenka, Keynote Speaker and retired Professor Manoranjan Mohanty, Guest of Honour Dr. Santosh Mohapatra, and former Odia Department Professor Dr. Rabindra Bihari participated in the book’s unveiling. They expressed the view that the book would prove highly beneficial for researchers across India and the global stage. Additionally, they shared insights on history, literature, and philosophy, while emphasizing the importance of conducting research with accuracy and diligence. On this occasion, individuals who had excelled in various fields including journalists Hemant Bhainsa (Sambalpur) and Raju Kumar Patel (Sundargarh), as well as Duryodhan Garadia, Pragya Paramita Pati, Prashant Samal, Santosh Kumar Sahu, and Satyabrata Nayak along with students who had achieved distinction in academics, were felicitated with trophies, uttariyas (ceremonial stoles), and certificates of appreciation. The event was managed by Debashish Panda, Sushil Kumar Jena, Premlata Maharana, Binod Bihari Chinar, and Biswajit Parida, among other dignitaries. The proceedings began with the lighting of a ceremonial lamp and the garlanding of a portrait of Lord Jagannath, followed by cultural dance performances. Finally, Lecturer Banita Swain delivered the vote of thanks.
